Lord of the Flies assignments

 I have to be honest.  I hate this book.  I hated it when I read it back in 7th grade, and I hated it when I read it again over the summer.  I hate it.

But I think it might be a good book for the 12yo to read.  It can relate to a video game we have played, and might show why the video game needs an ending for me (the game is called Stranded Deep, for anyone interested).

I also think it will be good for him to see how bullies are made and how peer pressure/mob mentality can happen quickly.

The book report will be either 1) why do you think Mom hates the book or 2) compare and contrast with Stranded Deep.

EDITED: I took out the links for the questions I am going to give him.  I am deciding to collate my own.  Of course, I decide to do this 2 weeks before school starts.
